At the heart of bustling Market Street, our fishmongers provide a friendly service and use their traditional skills to prepare our fish and advise on fish recipes and cooking methods.
Who we look for
Skilled Fishmongers who can prepare and sell fresh fish and maintain the highest standards of quality, service and product availability. Helping to keep your department running smoothly, you’ll be passionate about providing the best shopping experience to our customers.
Someone who takes great pride in your work, you must be able to clean, gut, debone, skin, scale, fillet and prepare fish products to meet the needs of our customers. Hardworking and a good communicator and team player, you should also be able to work on your own initiative and produce creative counter displays.
If you join us in one of our Retail Butchers, Fishmongers or Bakery's there's a recognised apprenticeship plan for you to develop your skills.
