The UK’s 2nd largest fresh food manufacturer, we’ve 18 manufacturing sites across the UK. We’re proud to produce most of our fresh food ourselves at our manufacturing sites.

Here, you’ll find state-of-the-art production lines and our friendly engineering, production and manufacturing support teams. Whether you bake bread in Wakefield, process fish in Grimsby or create stunning flower bouquets in Derby, each site has free parking and an on-site canteen.

If you’re applying for one of the live roles on this careers website, our process follows the 3 simple steps you’ll see below. Although things may vary a bit here and there, our process gives you the chance to shine and make sure you and the role are a great match.

It’s the way we recruit top talent for our head office, distribution centres, manufacturing sites, store leadership and craft skills roles (such as the butchers and bakers you see on Market Street).

Step 1

This is where your exciting journey starts.

Simply register on this website, create your personal profile and start applying for our many different opportunities.

We’ve made it easy for you to log back in and refresh your profile. So, you can tailor your profile to the role you’re applying for and keep us up to date with your latest skills and experience.

Step 2

We’ll have a good read through your application and take a look at your personal profile. After all, we want to make sure you and the role you’re applying for are a great match. So, please include any relevant experience and try to give examples of times you demonstrated the skills we’re looking for.

We like to use technology as part of the process. This could include a video interview and some online tests. You might also have a telephone interview before being invited to come along for a face-to-face interview, so we can get to know each other a bit better. Just relax and be yourself. We want to get to know the real you and find out what makes you tick.

Step 3

We may ask you to attend a second interview or come along to one of our assessment centres.

This is a two way process. So it’s a great opportunity for you to meet some of the friendly faces in our fantastic team and ask any questions you may have.

Depending on which role you’ve applied for, our assessment centres can involve an interview, a presentation and different exercises. We’ll tell you all about it and what’s involved beforehand.
