Maintenance that keeps us at our best

At Morrisons, we’re growing our Maintenance Team to make sure we’re always working at our best as Foodmakers and Shopkeepers. Which means we’re looking for people from all kinds of backgrounds to join us in a range of exciting new maintenance roles.

Maintenance at Morrisons is big business. With nearly 500 stores around the UK serving more than 11 million customers every week, keeping things running smoothly is something that keeps us really busy.

We want to make sure we’re always at our best, and that wherever you’ll find us you’ll discover a shopping and working environment that is really cared for.

That’s why we’re growing our Property Maintenance Team so we can take care of any maintenance job - quickly, effectively, and to the highest standards.

Right now, we’re working hard to establish a data-led central support function. Our immediate plans include developing ways of working to be effective and efficient, improving the way we do businesswith store teams and our service supply chain. Our future plans include revolutionising our approach to asset management and how we use technology to support managing our stores and sites remotely.

Here’s where you’ll be able to join us…

Central Support Function

Our Central Support Function will consist of:

An Operations Compliance Team - which will support our Service Delivery Team 7 days a week with incident response services, MI/BI, training, and legal guidance.

A Contract Management Team - which will look after contractual relationships, manage performance, and collaborate on future strategies with our suppliers and partners.

A Data, Insight and Analytics Team - which will contribute to managing performance, and help deliver our strategic plan for continuous improvement.

Working at Hilmore House

As part of our Central Support Function, you’ll work at Hilmore House - our fantastic head office in Bradford that’s easily accessible from Leeds and surrounding areas. There, you’ll find a large on site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience store, prayer room, free parking and regular company wide events and promotions.

It’s a great place to work, with lots of brilliant benefits, including our ‘4 day week’ which helps everyone here to be at their best, too.
